Karen Irace is a native Southside Chicagoan who is a consistent top producer and award winning Realtor with nearly 1000 homes sold in her almost two decades of experience. She is well versed in all areas of residential buying, selling and building. She will take you through the process of eliminating many pitfalls to ensure a smooth transaction while helping you achieve your real estate goals. Karen is the former Director of Professional Development for RE/MAX Team 2000 and RE/MAX Synergy, responsible for the training and education departments for both companies. In 2011, Karen earned the prestigious CRS designation from the Council of Residential Specialists, which is the highest level awarded to Brokers with consistent high-level production. Karen also holds the coveted Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) designation, specific to representing luxury homes. Karen has extensive leadership experience within the industry having been elected to the Board of Directors Mainstreet Organization in 2010, which is the largest association in the state with over 18,000 members. In a short time, she was elected Treasurer, then President Elect and in 2018, served as Board President. Karen was previously appointed to the Illinois Association of Realtors Board of Directors and also serves (or has served) on several organization committees including the Government Affairs, Grievance Committees and Professional Standards committees and currently serves on several Illinois Association of Realtors committees and working groups, chairing the Professional Standards committee for the Illinois Association of Realtors. Karenís success in real estate lead her to form Irace Fegan Group with her business partner and fellow broker, Mike Fegan. Outside of real estate, Karen appreciates the marriage she has built over 30 years with her husband, Ron. They are proud Orland Park residents. They are immensely proud of their daughter Christy, and son in law Brooks. Karen spends most of her free time with family, golfing, cycling or cooking in addition to her philanthropic activism for the American Diabetes Association, the Great Cycle Challenge that fundraises for childrenís cancer, Special Olympics and Toys for Tots.
